T1 auf T2-Fahrgestell
Here you have a '66 VW bus with a full restoration. The body is from a '66, the chassis from a '72. Therefore you have the IRS rear
suspension, super easy to lower if that's your thing. I'll also throw in a couple of beefy beam end plates I personally CNC machined.
Since it uses the chassis from the Baywindow, it has disc brakes up front, and vacuum boost for such. This is the best stopping bus I've
ever been around. The entire brake system has been replaced except for the booster. Lines, hoses, master cylinder, wheel cylinders have
all been replaced, and the calipers have been rebuilt with all new parts. The proportioning valve was completely disassembled and cleaned.
I used a Baywindow fuel tank, which gives an extra 2 gallons of capacity.
